Daniel ClantonDaniel Clanton is the Technical Branch Manager of the Regulated Storage Tanks Division at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Daniel has worked in the Regulated Storage Tanks Division since December 2005. His staff manages the investigation and remediation of releases from regulated aboveground and underground storage tanks in Arkansas. Prior to working in the Regulated Storage Tank Division, he was a branch manager and supervisor in the Hazardous Waste Division of ADEQ for 11½ years. Daniel is a backup instructor for ITRC’s LNAPL team Part 1 training. Arkansas joined ITRC in August 2001 and Daniel served as Arkansas POC for five years from August 2001 until September 2006. He was one of the original 5 state members of ITRC’s Risk Assessment Resources Team which was formed in 2003 and has been a member of the LNAPL team since its beginning in 2007. Daniel earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1972. He is a licensed professional engineer in Arkansas.
