Tom Schneider is the Fernald Project Manager for the Ohio EPA. He has worked for the Ohio EPA since 1990 in the area of radioactive site remediation. He managed a team (composed of staff and contractors) charged with implementing Ohio's oversight and environmental monitoring program at the U.S. Department of Energy Fernald site. He was team co-leader of the ITRC Radionuclides team from 1999 to 2005 and continues to be an instructor on the team's Internet-based training courses as well as Ohio's ITRC state POC. Tom earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio in 1988 and a master's degree in natural resources from the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 1990.
