Ken Finkelstein is an Environmental Scientist with NOAA, since 1987, and works to identify, evaluate, and both mitigate and restore the adverse effects of hazardous substances on marine and coastal resources and their supporting ecosystems. He has significant involvement with responsible parties and other government agencies leading to site cleanup and habitat restoration. Education includes the BS, MS and PhD degrees; the latter in Marine Science from the College of William and Mary, Virginia School of Marine Sciences. Ken is also an adjunct professor at Suffolk University in Boston, MA where he teaches Environmental Science in the fall semester and Coastal Geology in the spring.
