Susan T. Glassmeyer is a Research Chemist in the USEPA's Office of Research and Development, National Exposure Research Laboratory in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her research is focused in two areas: the assessment of pharmaceuticals and other emerging contaminants as indicators of human fecal contamination, and the analysis of microorganisms, including Cryptosporidium parvum, Giardia lamblia, and enterococci, by mass spectrometry. Susan has a doctorate in Environmental Science from Indiana University, and joined the Agency after her graduation in 1998.
