Roger Jenkins
is the ORNL (Oak Ridge National Laboratory) Program Manager for EPA's ETV
Project, and Leader of the Sampling and Analysis Group in the Chemical and
Analytical Sciences Division at ORNL. He received his Ph.D. in Analytical
Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1975, and joined ORNL
shortly thereafter. His professional interests include field sampling and
analysis and characterization of complex airborne aerosols. He has more than 35
open literature publications, several of which involve the performance
verification of field analytical technologies. He has sat on advisory panels
for the EPA, Departments of Defense and Energy, the National Cancer Institute,
the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the Federal Trade Commission. He is a
member of the American Chemical Society, the Air and Waste Management
Association, and the Society for Risk Analysis.
He lives in Knoxville, TN, is married, with a 19-year old
step daughter. His personal interests include backpacking, nature photography,
and digital mapping.
