Marva King Marva King, Community Action for a Renewed Environment (CARE) Program Co-Chair
Ms. King works in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Office of Air and Radiation as the CARE Program Co-Chair. She also serves as a community expert on several EPA teams across the Agency. Previously, she worked for over 10 years as a Senior Program Analyst in EPA's Office of Environmental Justice managing the EJ Collaborative Problem-Solving Cooperative Agreement Program and the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council. Her professional work has gained her substantial connections throughout the country with a variety of stakeholders from community groups, business/industry, state/local/tribal government, academia, non-governmental organizations, and federal agencies. Recent awards include the 2010 Child Health Advocate Award from the Children's Environmental Health Network and the EPA 2010 Gold Medal for CARE Program work. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Delaware and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy at George Mason University.
