In her role as Region 5's CARE Program Manager, Ms. Millard mentors communities in developing local environmental health capacity, especially in the areas of Healthy Homes, PACE-EH, community based cumulative risk screening and facilitating public-private partnerships. Margaret has a long-standing commitment to Inter-Agency Collaboration, and currently represents EPA as co-lead on the EPA-CDC-ATSDR Collaborative's Community Portal Team and previously co-lead the pilot Management Team, which facilitated collaboration between local communities and Federal agencies on Environmental Health concerns. In addition, Margaret has worked in the Region's Native American Program since 1987, serving as Coordinator for Tribal Waste, Pesticides and Toxics Programs from 1995 to the present. In 1995, she served as the Region 5 Environmental Justice Coordinator and from 1994 to present, has managed the Region's Environmental Justice Grants Programs. She Holds a BA and MBA from Loyola University of Chicago where she was a Presidential Scholar.
