I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a double major in environmental studies and biology and have a Master's degree in environmental policy and management from the University of Denver. I have worked as an Environmental Protection Specialist for U.S. EPA's Office of Resource Conservation and Recycling since 1997, primarily on hazardous waste recycling. Before coming to EPA, I worked as an environmental consultant, a technical writer for the Hazardous Waste Consultant, and an information specialist for EPA's RCRA/Superfund Hotline.
