This seminar is the fifth in the series on international green and sustainable remediation (GSR) efforts (additional information on prior internet seminars can be found at http://cluin.org/global/). This 2-hour seminar will address the upcoming Sustainable Remediation Conference 2012 in Vienna, Austria, and provide an overview of the presentations available within each of the conference tracks: 1) Conceptual Framework – considering sustainability within remedial approaches; 2) Sustainability Assessment – methodologies, models, and tools for sustainable remediation; and 3) Sustainability Management – case studies of sustainable remediation projects. An open forum will be held throughout the seminar to respond to participant questions.
