Deana Crumbling
Deana Crumbling works in EPA's Technology Innovation Program, and holds a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and a Masters in Environmental Science. She has 20 years experience as an analytical chemist in a wide variety of employment situations, and has worked in the hazardous waste arena for 5 years. Within TIP, she focuses on supporting the acceptance of field analytical methods and improving the quality of hazardous site characterization through systematic planning and adequate QA/QC procedures. In these efforts, she coordinates with other EPA Offices, Regions, States, and government agencies to provide scientifically sound guidance and information to encourage defensible site decision-making. She has been assisting with technical aspects of the ETV program and participated in the data evaluation and writing of the PCB Verification Reports.
