It describes demonstrations conducted to document performance of two sampling technologies [April 1999, 4 pages].

Sediments Research Website. This new web site has been developed by the EPA Hazardous Substance Research Center - South/Southwest. The purpose of the site is to bring together researchers and practitioners who are working in the sediment remediation field. The site has a growing number of technical papers, reports, and articles relating to various contaminated sediments articles. Sediments researchers and practitioners are invited to enter professional information about themselves, add bulletin board items, and submit technical papers for publication in the site's online library. See http://www.sediments.org . Please contact mark.hodges@gtri.gatech.edu if you have any comments or questions.

Technical and Regulatory Requirements for Enhanced In Situ Bioremediation of Chlorinated Solvents in Groundwater (ITRC/ISB-6). This document was published by the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Cooperation (ITRC) Work Group. It was developed to provide guidance to those considering the deployment of enhanced in situ bioremediation of chlorinated solvents in groundwater. It specifically deals with classes of remediation systems designed to remediate or prevent further migration of chlorinated solvents through use of enhancements to the subsurface environment to accelerate solvent biodegradation [December 1998, 122 pages].
