Carlos Pachon, Technology Innovation and Field Services Division, Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation, EPA
In addition to responsibilities such as tracking and reporting on the use of remediation technologies in Superfund, Mr. Pachon manages the Brownfields and Land Revitalization Technology Support Center. He is currently engaged in helping define EPA Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response's green remediation strategy. In recent years he also worked as a special assistant to the EPA Administrator and with the United States Trade Representative conducting environmental reviews of free trade agreements. Previously his duties also included the development and delivery of key training Superfund courses, such as Remedial Design and Remedial Action for Remedial Project Managers. He has a BS from Colorado State University in Watershed Management and graduate degrees in environmental and business management from Duke University and a Georgetown respectively.
